Former Brazilian national team player Oscar has announced the end of his career. Sport24.az reports that the 34-year-old footballer said this in an interview with Globo:
"It's a pity that I can't do more for San Paulo. Unfortunately, now I can only support the team as a fan."
Oscar retired from football due to health problems discovered during a medical examination last year. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. He was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope.
It should be noted that during his career, Oscar played for clubs such as San Paulo, Internacional, Chelsea and Shanghai Port. The footballer won the English Premier League and the Europa League with Chelsea.
