Oscar, the former midfielder of "Chelsea" and the Brazilian national team, currently playing for the Brazilian club "Sao Paulo", has been hospitalized due to a heart problem.
Idman.Biz reports that the 34-year-old football player felt unwell during the new pre-season medical tests and immediately received first aid from doctors at the "Sao Paulo" training base.
"Oscar showed heart-related changes, he was immediately examined by the club's doctors and the medical team at the scene. The football player was then taken to the hospital and his condition is currently stable. He is under observation to clarify the diagnosis," the club said in an official statement.
The Brazilian press, especially "Globo", reports that Oscar lost consciousness while on a bicycle simulator during the test and was unable to regain consciousness for about two minutes.
According to the source, the football player is currently considering the possibility of ending his career. He returned to "Sao Paulo" in December 2024 after an eight-year Chinese career and signed a three-year contract until 2027. The team is currently coached by former Argentine striker, former "Chelsea" player Hernan Crespo.
