"Orenburg" will participate in the Russian Premier League in the 2025/26 season, replacing "Torpedo". According to Sport24.az, the Russian Football Union has announced this.
At a meeting of the Bureau of the Executive Committee of the organization, a decision was made to accept "Orenburg" as a participant in the Russian championship instead of Moscow "Torpedo". Based on the results of last season, "Orenburg" took 15th place in the standings and was relegated to the First League.
It should be noted that on July 10, the RFU announced that "Torpedo" was excluded from the Premier League from the 2025/26 season due to an attempt to influence the results of three home games of the First League in the 2024/25 season.
