The statistical portal Opta has prepared a new forecast regarding the results of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, experts have determined what the final league table would look like if teams continued to score points at the same rate as they have in the last 11 rounds. The results are shared on the official social media channels of the Premier League.
The portal continues to believe that Arsenal will win the title. The Gunners average 2.36 points per game in this Premier League season. The Opta supercomputer predicts that Mikel Arteta's team will win the title with 90 points at the end of the season.
Manchester City will take second place with an average of two points per game in the English league - 76 points. Liverpool, who started the season as champions, will finish the season with 62 points, the same as Aston Villa, Manchester United and Bournemouth.
Opta places Burnley, West Ham, Nottingham and Wolverhampton at the bottom of the league table. The supercomputer predicts a disastrous ending for Wolverhampton - seven points for the entire season, which would be the worst result in league history.
However, Sunderland is predicted to score 66 points, which is equal to Ipswich's record in the 2000/01 season, the best result for a team promoted to the top flight.
How many points will Premier League clubs earn by the end of the season?
