Defender Jonathan Tah has moved to Bavaria from Bayer as a free agent.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the press service of the Munich club has released information about this.
Ta has signed a contract with Bavaria until June 30, 2029. According to the German press, Ta's salary in Munich will be 14 million euros per season.
Ta is a graduate of Hamburg. In 2015, Jonathan moved to Bayer, and since then he has played 402 matches for the Leverkusen club in all competitions, scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists. In the 2023/24 season, Ta was a member of the team that won the Bundesliga for the first time in Bayer's history. Moreover, Xabi Alonso's team went through that season undefeated.
According to Transfermarkt, the German defender is worth 30 million euros. At the end of last season, Bavaria became the German champion, while Bayer finished the season in second place.
