18 head referees have officiated the 30 final matches of the Azerbaijan Cup held so far. Sport24.az reports with reference to the official website of the Professional Football League that Fariz Yusifov and Aliyar Agayev are the joint record holders of the competition held since 1992.
They have upheld justice in the decisive match more than anyone else - 4 times each.
Vusal Aliyev and Khagani Mammadov officiated 3 finals, and Tahir Suleymanov and Inqilab Mammadov officiated 2 finals.
The other 12 referees served as head referees in the final once each. These are Gulaga Jabarov, Orujali Durmushov, Nuvar Khasiyev, Asim Khudiyev, Mahammad Mammadov, Imanxan Sultani, Manuel Grafe (Germany), Elchin Mammadov, Rahim Hasanov, Rauf Jabbarov, Elchin Masiyev and Ravan Hamzazadeh.
