Olivier Giroud, the 39-year-old French forward of "Lille", spoke about his return to the French national team.
Idman.Biz reports that Giroud is currently the record holder for the French national team with 57 goals.
"I don't have a desire to return, they have given me great honor. There would have to be a real massacre to bring me back. We currently have five forwards and the coach isn't calling me. He understands that I've turned the page. If I need to help during a match, even if I've announced that I've finished my career, refusing is not my style," the player said.
This season, the footballer has played six games for the club in Ligue 1, scoring two goals.
