Oliver Kahn, former goalkeeper of "Bavaria" and former chairman of the club's board, shared his thoughts on goalkeeper Manuel Neuer's potential career end. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer made a statement to "Sky Sport Germany" regarding this:
"Isn't it the perfect time to win all the titles again with "Bavaria" and end your career at a high level? Should I participate in the World Cup in the USA when the air temperature is over 40 degrees? Should I endure this anymore?" I imagine these thoughts are going through his head right now.
If he wins the Champions League again with "Bavaria", it will be his third title. He is already a world champion. Then it would be logical to say "that's enough." Knowing when to leave football is also a skill for an athlete."
It should be noted that "Bavaria" is currently the leader of the Bundesliga. The Munich representative defeated "Real" 2:1 away in the first match of the quarter-finals in the Champions League.
