Oleksandr Zubkov to miss match against Azerbaijan due to injury

Trabzonspor and Ukraine national team midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov will miss the match against Azerbaijan as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.

Idman.biz reports this with reference to the Ukrainian Football Association.

The Ukrainian footballer has been withdrawn from the national team due to injury. His place in the squad will be taken by Shakhtar midfielder Oleh Ocheretko.

The Ukraine-Azerbaijan match will be held on October 13 in Krakow and will start at 22:45 Baku time.
