Galatasaray drew 1:1 with Fenerbahçe in the 14th round of the Turkish Super League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the "yellow-reds", Okan Buruk, made a statement after the Istanbul derby.
The 52-year-old specialist drew attention to the opponent's tough game:
"After what happened in the derby, we will show everyone how important it is for us to support each other. Kazimcan Karataş could have lost his sight. Two of our players could have broken their legs. We are grateful to have saved our lives. Let no one forget that we are Galatasaray."
