"Inter's" press service has announced that captain and striker Lautaro Martinez has been injured.
Idman.Biz reports that the "Inter" striker has recently recovered from a calf injury that kept him out of action for about a month and a half.
"Lautaro Martinez underwent medical and instrumental examinations today at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The examinations revealed a slight strain in the calf muscle of his left leg. The condition of the Argentine striker will be reassessed in the coming days," the Milan club's official website said.
This season, Martinez has made 36 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing four assists. "Inter" is currently in first place in the Serie A standings with 72 points.
