"My transfer to "Shaki" happened suddenly. I myself didn't think that I would break my contract with "Khankendi" at the last moment and leave." These words were said to Sport24.az by Nurlan Novruzov, the new transfer of "Shaki".
The football player, who terminated his newly signed contract with "Khankendi" and agreed with "Shaki", spoke about his transfer to the new team:
"The reason for breaking my contract with "Khankendi" is my relationship with Javid Imamverdiyev. I met and talked with Bahman Hasanov, the head coach of "Shaki". He told me what he wanted from me, and I agreed to the terms. The management of "Khankendi" initially created a problem with the transfer. But then they realized that keeping me by force would not be good for either themselves or me. I talked to Elnur muellim, thank him, he treated me with respect. Now I am in "Shaki". God willing, everything will be fine. Our team's goal is the championship. Of course, it will be difficult, but we believe in ourselves."
It should be noted that during his career, Nurlan Novruzov played for clubs such as "Baku", "Sumgayit", "Sabail", "Zira" in Azerbaijan, "Şanlıurfa", "Dersim 62 Spor" in Turkey, "Dinamo-Auto" in Moldova, "Narva Trans" in Estonia, "Machhindra" in Nepal, and "Jonava" in Lithuania. In the 2014/15 season, he became the top scorer of the Azerbaijan championship with 15 goals scored as part of "Baku".
