It is reported that the number of people injured in a traffic accident during Liverpool's championship parade is approximately 50.

One person has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police soon announced that the suspect was a 53-year-old white British man.
According to the ambulance service, 27 people were taken to the hospital, two of whom – including one child – sustained serious injuries. Another 20 people received medical attention at the scene. There are also four children among the injured.
Police do not consider the incident a terrorist act.
