War and football veteran Novruz Azimov will soon start working as an AFFA representative.
İdman.biz reports that according to the information provided by Sanan Abdullayev, director of the Media and Marketing Department of the PFL, to Sportnet.az, Azimov has successfully passed the exams.
He is currently assisting AFFA representatives in some games: "Novruz Azimov is one of the country's well-known veteran football players and an influential figure with great coaching experience. Everyone knows that Novruz bey participated in the First Karabakh War at the best time of his career and fought for the defense of our lands in the most difficult time. When he expressed his desire to participate in the AFFA representative exams, we accepted it with great pleasure. It is gratifying that Azimov passed the test successfully. Although his experience as a football player and coach gives him a great advantage, he assists AFFA representatives in some games because he needs experience to be appointed as a representative. We have no doubt that he will be successful in this work and we have great confidence that he will soon perform the duties of AFFA representative independently."
It should be noted that Novruz Azimov previously worked as an assistant coach and head coach in a number of teams.
