English club "Nottingham Forest" has sacked head coach Angelos Postecoglou.

The club said that A.Postecoglou was immediately dismissed after a series of disappointing results.
On Saturday, in the 8th round of the English Premier League, "Nottingham" lost 3:0 to "Chelsea" at home, bringing their winless streak in all competitions to 10 matches. The team is currently in 17th place in the tournament table with 5 points.
Sixty-year-old A.Postecoglou started to lead Nottingham Forest on September 8. He previously managed Australian clubs "South Melbourne", "Brisbane Roar", "Melbourne Victory", Japanese "Yokohama Marinos", Scottish "Celtic" and the Australian national team. He has twice won the Australian Championship with South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar.
Since 2023, he has managed the English club "Tottenham". In the 2024/25 season, the Londoners, under his leadership, became the winners of the Europa League, which is the first official cup since 2008. The team finished the English Premier League in 17th place.
