Norwegian authorities will allow midnight beer sales during World Cup games.
Idman.Biz reports, citing foreign media, that the sale of alcohol is currently prohibited in Norway after midnight.
However, the ban will be relaxed for games of the Norwegian national football team, which has qualified for the football World Cup.
The decision has been positively received by fans and is expected to further enliven the atmosphere in stadiums.
The government has stated that this exception will only apply during the World Cup period.
It should be noted that after winning against the Italian national team last month, Norway qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1998.
