Some websites reported that the players of the "Karvan-Yevlax" club did not attend yesterday's training session in protest against the non-payment of salaries and bonuses.
Idman.biz contacted the team's goalkeeper coach Huseyn Mammadov to clarify the issue.
He strongly denied the circulated news:
"This is an outright lie! I don't understand who and for what purpose spread such information. Our players train in the most comfortable conditions (from food supply to accommodation). Salaries and bonuses are paid on time. No one from the team can say otherwise. Those who wrote this news should have come and seen the situation on the spot and then spoken," Mammadov said.
He emphasized that the players are currently continuing their training with motivation and the circulated information is completely unfounded.
