"The preparation process is going according to plan". These words were said by Sumgayit footballer Nikola Ninkovic in his statement to Sport24.az.
The midfielder stated that they train intensively every day at the training camp in Antalya, Turkey:
"We are focused on the second half of the season. The most important thing is that there have been no serious injuries so far and the entire team is participating in training".
The Serbian player also reminded that they are currently in fifth place in the Misli Premier League:
"However, the difference in points is very small and we clearly see our chances of qualifying for European Cups. We will do our best to achieve this goal".
He also spoke about the test match they lost 1:5 to Hungarian representative Paks:
"I don't think the result is the main priority in these games. Our main goal is to be fully prepared for the continuation of the championship, and these meetings are an opportunity to test new options on the field and further improve our game quality. In addition, we gave a chance to many young football players, and such games are very important for them. Therefore, there is no need to focus on the result. One of the main points is that everyone finished the game without injury".
