"Arsenal"'s set-piece coach Nikolas Jover has bonuses included in his contract. Sport24.az reports that the 44-year-old French specialist receives a bonus for every goal the team scores from set-pieces.
His contract with the London club runs until June 30, 2027.
"Arsenal" head coach Mikel Arteta invited Jover from "Manchester City" in July 2021. The "Gunners" have already scored 16 goals from corners this season, which is a club record for a single Premier League season.
Previously, "Oldham" (1992/1993), "West Bromwich" (2016/2017) and "Arsenal" themselves (2023/2024) had achieved similar results. Before moving to London, Jover worked at "Brentford", and as an analyst for the Croatian national team and "Montpellier."
