"We have the last seven games ahead of us".
This was stated by "Imishli"'s Serbian midfielder Nikola Karaklaić in an interview with futbolinfo.az.
We present the interview.
- Your next game will be against "Gabala". How do you assess the chances?
- We must show the maximum of our capabilities and earn points. That should be our mindset. We must believe in ourselves and show the unity we have demonstrated during the season again.
- What will be "Imishli"'s goal in the remaining matches of the season?
We have the last seven games ahead of us. I don't want to talk about specific goals, but we intend to collect as many points as possible and finish the season in a calm environment. I wouldn't want to wait for the last two games or the last round to determine our place in the standings. I believe we can secure our safe position in the table at an earlier stage.
- You have played in various clubs in Serbia. What are the differences between the Azerbaijani and Serbian leagues?
- The first difference is that clubs in Serbia give young players more opportunities. In each transfer period, young football players leave their clubs with transfers worth millions. In terms of quality, the level is good in both countries. Also, until last year, the Serbian championship was considered the 12th league in Europe. Overall, both leagues are good and interesting.
