Nikita Khaykin broke the record for the most saves in a single Champions League season.
Idman.Biz reports that the 30-year-old Russian goalkeeper of "Bodo-Glimt" made 68 saves in 12 tournament matches.
"Bodo-Glimt" was eliminated in the 1/8 finals, losing to "Sporting" (3:0, 0:5).
Khaykin surpassed "Real Madrid" goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who made 59 saves in the 2021/22 season.
The legendary Petr Čech is in third place with 58 saves.
