The Nigeria national team players have boycotted training two days before their play-off match as part of the WC-2026 qualifying stage. This was reported by the "Blueprint.ng" portal, according to Sport24.az.
According to the source, the reason for the boycott is the non-payment of the bonus promised to the players by the federation.
The players said in a statement that the entire team, including officials, boycotted training in Morocco due to unpaid bonuses.
It should be noted that the Nigerian national team will face Gabon tomorrow. The winning team will face the winner of the Cameroon-Congo match for a ticket to the World Cup next year.
