Zenit, which also features Nigar Mirzaliyeva, a football player of the Azerbaijan national team, has won the Russian Super Cup. Sport24.az reports that the St. Petersburg club defeated Moscow's Lokomotiv 3-0 in the decisive match held in Yekaterinburg.
Taking advantage of the opponent being down a player from the 38th minute, Zenit scored three goals in the second half. Mirzaliyeva played the entire game without being substituted.
It should be noted that Zenit, who won the Russian Super Cup for the second time in its history, is the current national champion.
