Zira's footballer Issa Djibrilla shared a post on his social media account. Sport24.az reports that the Nigerian footballer, who attracted attention with his goal in the return match against Hajduk (Split) (2:1) in the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League, wrote about his team's performance in European cups:
"End of the season in the Conference League. This marked the end of our Conference League journey. We fought and worked hard, but football has its own rules. Yes, we are disappointed. But we are proud of the progress we have made. We turn the page to another, focusing all our attention on the new season. I dedicate the goal I scored to all my Nigerian compatriots who are going through difficult times. May God's power and grace be with you. Thank you all for your support. This is just a postponement!".
