Forward Nic Voltemede has expressed his desire to leave Newcastle and return to Germany.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Bild, the 24-year-old forward is unhappy with life in England and is considering a return to the Bundesliga. He plans either to return to Stuttgart or to join Bayern, who showed interest in him last summer.
Newcastle may lose their striker this summer as the Munich club are looking for another player to replace Nicolas Jackson, who will soon return to Chelsea. Voltemede moved to Newcastle from Stuttgart in the summer of 2025 for 75 million euros. He has played 38 games for the Magpies, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists.
Voltemede's current contract with Newcastle runs until 2031, and according to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is 70 million euros.
