"Fenerbahçe's" plans regarding N'Golo Kante have officially failed. The club has released an official statement about this.
İdman.Biz reports that the agreed player exchange between "Fenerbahçe" and Saudi Arabia's "Al-Ittihad" club collapsed at the last moment. According to the agreement, N'Golo Kante was to move to the Turkish club, and Youssef En-Nesyri was to move in the opposite direction.
According to reports, the parties agreed on all terms, documents were prepared, the players said goodbye to the clubs and even underwent medical examinations. However, due to "Al-Ittihad's" incorrect entry of data into the transfer system, the agreement was not registered in time.
"Fenerbahçe" directly blamed "Al-Ittihad" in its official statement. It was stated that although the Turkish club requested FIFA to extend the registration period, the Saudi side did not react to the process without giving any explanation, and the issue remained unresolved.
