Santos forward Neymar has responded to criticism directed at him. Sport24.az reports that the star footballer gave an explanation to Globo regarding this:
"Last week they called me the worst player in the world. I think I looked better in the last match. That's how football is: today they retire you, tomorrow you can go to the World Cup.
I try to live in the present, work and get into top form. This is the second match this year that I have played a full 90 minutes. I train a lot and want to play at the highest level."
It should be noted that the 34-year-old Brazilian has played three games for Santos in 2026, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
