Frankfurt "Eintracht" striker Hugo Ekitike is close to joining "Newcastle". Sport24.az reports that ESPN has reported this.
According to the source, the English club will pay the other side 80 million euros for the transfer. The 23-year-old forward has already agreed on the terms of the contract with the "magpies" and is ready to undergo a medical examination.
It should be noted that Ekitiike moved to Eintracht from PSG in the summer of 2024. Before that, he played for this team on loan. The striker made 48 appearances in all tournaments last season, scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists.
