Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe commented on his team's 2-3 defeat to Brentford in the 25th round of the Premier League at home. Sport24.az reports that he told Sky Sports about it:
"I always feel the pressure. But it doesn't matter to me what kind of pressure it is. Whether it's the pressure to win, or the pressure to change the situation. We're probably in the second situation right now.
I always say that the pressure I put on myself can't be any greater than this. I have really high standards for what I do, how I work, and what I demand from my players. It is clear that I am not doing my job well enough right now. I'm angry at myself, I'm mad at myself, I blame myself and I take responsibility for it. I don't blame anyone else."
It should be noted that the Magpies, who currently have 33 points, are in 12th place in the tournament table.
