The goal of "Mingachevir", the representative of the Azerbaijan I League, is the championship.
"Report" informs that Ramiz Mammadov, who was newly appointed to the position of head coach of "Mingachevir", said this in a statement to the club's press service.
He thanked the management for their trust:
"I thank the club management for showing trust and sending an invitation. We will try to justify their trust. Mingachevir is my hometown. I started playing football here, I was a player-coach, a captain. Moreover, I played in the final twice in Mingachevir.
We are starting to work with our sleeves rolled up from today. First of all, we have to build a team. Players must be bought for every position - from the goal to the attack line. I will try to invite familiar, experienced and promising football players. The goal is to make "Mingachevir" champion. God willing, we will make a preparation plan in the near future and start working to achieve the goal. As far as I know, the championship will start in September. So we have time."
It should be noted that Ramiz Mammadov replaced Fuzuli Mammadov in this position.
