New appointments have been made in the coaching staff of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 21 years old.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the decision, Rashad Huseynov has been appointed as the coach of U-21, and Gara Garayev as the analyst.
The AFFA leadership hopes that the new appointments will contribute to the development of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 21 years old, to the more efficient organization of the preparation process of young players, and to their more systematic preparation for international games.
It should be noted that Rashad Huseynov, who has been engaged in coaching activities since the age of 25, has worked in "Ravan", "Zira", "Sabah" and "Neftchi" clubs in different years. The 36-year-old specialist also served as the assistant head coach of the main team at "Sabah".
Gara Garayev, one of the well-known figures of Azerbaijani football, has spent a large part of his professional career with "Qarabagh". The 33-year-old former midfielder of our national team later played for "Neftchi" and "Araz-Nakhchivan".
