Nelson Semedo injured: "Fenerbahçe" will not be able to use him for 2-3 weeks

The status of Fenerbahçe defender Nelson Semedo has been clarified. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese footballer was injured in the second leg (0:1) of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage against Benfica.

 

Semedo has been diagnosed with a groin injury. The 31-year-old right-back will be out of action for 2-3 weeks. 

 

It should be noted that Fenerbahçe transferred Nelson Semedo from Wolverhampton last month. The Portuguese international has appeared in 6 official matches for the Istanbul team.
