Engin Firat, the Turkish head coach of the "Nejmeh" club, which plays in the Lebanese Premier League, has suddenly passed away.
İdman.Biz reports, citing "Fanatik", that the 55-year-old specialist died of heart failure at Istanbul Airport while returning to his country from Lebanon yesterday.
It should be noted that Engin Firat had a rich coaching career. In 2002, he worked as an assistant coach at Fenerbahce and also held various positions in Turkish clubs such as Sivasspor.
Engin Firat is also well known in Iran. He coached Saipa and Sepahan. E. Firat was appointed head coach of the Moldova national team in 2019.
