"Neftçi" is facing a serious loss. Sport24.az reports that Mustafa Sek, a key member of the "black and whites", has been suspended.
This is due to the 30-year-old wing-back receiving a yellow card in the 22nd round of the Misli Premier League match against "Shamakhi".
The player, who has faced this for the fourth time this season, will not be able to play in the 23rd round match against "Turan Tovuz".
"Neftçi"'s away match against "Shamakhi" ended in a 2:2 draw. Mustafa Sek was cautioned with a yellow card at the end of the match, in the 90+4th minute. In the controversial episode discussed by the football community, head referee Kamranbay Rahimov awarded an 11-meter penalty kick to the capital's representative and showed a yellow card to the player.
It should be noted that the "Neftçi" - "Turan Tovuz" match will be held on March 9. Mustafa Sek has played in 21 matches in the Premier League this season.
