The decision regarding "Neftçi"'s footballer Freddi Vargas has been clarified. According to information obtained by Sport24.az from a reliable source, the "white-blacks" intend to continue with the 27-year-old winger.
The head coach of the capital's representative, Yuri Vernidub, is satisfied with the Venezuelan player's performance and wants Vargas to be retained if he stays in the team.
The winger was taken on a 1-year loan with a buyout option from Israeli club "Maccabi Netanya" in July 2025. "Neftçi" management plans to use this right.
It should be noted that Freddi Vargas has participated in 25 matches in the current Misli Premier League season and scored 3 goals. The prestigious "Transfermarkt" portal estimates the footballer's market value at 600 thousand euros.
