The "Neftchi" club has been fined 26,200 manats. Sport24.az reports that the decision was made by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.
This was caused by the events that took place in the match of the XXVIII round of the Misli Premier League against "Zira".
In the match, five players from "Neftchi" received yellow cards. Therefore, the "white-blacks" will pay 700 manats.
The team's head coach, Yuri Vernidub, was suspended for one match for receiving a direct red card in the 90+8th minute due to protesting the referee's decision, and the club was fined 5,000 manats.
The Ukrainian specialist's assistant, Dmitro Kara Mustafa, was also suspended for one match for the same reason. The Baku representative suffered another loss of 5,000 manats.
"Neftchi" player Breno Almeida also received a direct red card in the 90+5th minute. He will also not be able to help his team for one game. The "white-blacks" will have to pay 3,000 manats for this.
