The disagreement between the club management and head coach Samir Abasov, who was dismissed from "Neftchi" after a 2:3 defeat to "Imishli" in the 12th round of the Misli Premier League, has been resolved.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that the parties have reached an agreement on the termination of the contract by mutual consent.
It was revealed that the "white-blacks" will continue to pay the 47-year-old specialist's salary. Although S.Abasov is currently unemployed, he will receive his monthly salary until the expiration of his contract with "Neftchi". Thus, the capital club will pay both the current head coach Yuri Vernidub and the former coach until the end of the season.
It should be noted that Samir Abasov was appointed to "Neftchi" in October 2024.
