The 29-year-old striker, who converted a penalty in the 42nd minute of the away match against "Shamakhi" (2:0), scored his 40th goal in his 127th match. He scored 30 times for "Qarabag" (75 matches), 6 times for "Sabah" (28 matches), and 4 times for "Neftchi" (24 matches).
Ramil is the 67th football player in the history of the country's championships to score 40 or more goals. In this indicator, he reached Mehman Allahverdiyev, Fernando Peres, and Junivan Soares.
