"Neftchi" intends to win cups in the new season.
According to "Report", this was stated to journalists by the CEO of "Neftchi" Football Club, Cenk Sümer.
The functionary said that they want the new season to be successful:
"We have new transfers. I believe they will be useful to the team. We intend to have a successful season. We want to win cups. We have bought players according to our budget. We have attracted the players that our head coach wanted by researching them".
He added that they did not perform as they wanted last season:
"This is football. Anything can happen. Some players disappointed us. Samir Abasov came to the team in the middle of the season. We analyzed all the games. We have improved our scouting team. I hope we will not experience failure in the new season. "Neftchi" is a family. We saw this in the training camp. We already have a good base".
C.Sümer spoke about the goals:
"We are one of the candidates for the championship. We want to achieve results that will make the "Neftchi" community happy".
It should be noted that the 2025/2026 season in the Misli Premier League will start on August 15. "Neftchi" will host "Shamakhi" on August 16 at 20:00.
