Continuing its transfer activities for the 2025/2026 season, "Neftchi" intends to strengthen its squad with a new defender. According to Sport24.az, the "white-blacks" are interested in Lukas Masoero, who plays for the Romanian representative "Universitatya".
The 30-year-old Argentine player has parted ways with his club as his contract has expired. In addition to "Neftchi", Turkish teams "Gaziantep", "Genclerbirliyi", "Karagumruk", and UAE teams "Baniyas", "Al-Dhafra" are also interested in transferring Masoero.
It is not yet known which offer he will accept.
It should be noted that Lukas Masoero, who has been playing for the Romanian representative since 2023, has played 68 matches and scored 7 goals.
