"Neftchi" gave the green light to Ukrainian Andrey Shtogrin

"Neftchi" will sign a new player for the second half of the season. According to Sport24.az, the player in question is Ukrainian Andrey Shtogrin.

Head coach Yuri Vernidub has stated his desire to use his fellow countryman in championship matches.

It should be noted that Andrey Shtogrin was not registered with the Professional Football League when Samir Abasov was the head coach. The midfielder, who moved to "Neftchi" in July 2024, has a contract until the summer of 2027.
