"Neftchi" footballer Azar Salahli has played his 200th match in Azerbaijani championships.
According to "Report", referring to the press service of the Professional Football League, his anniversary coincided with the XXXVI round of the Misli Premier League.
The 31-year-old defender started in the away match against "Sabah" (0:1). Azar has scored 9 goals in 200 matches.
Salahli, who debuted in the Premier League in the 2013/14 season as a "Inter" (now "Shamakhi") footballer, has worn the uniform of 4 clubs. He played 77 matches for "Neftchi" (3 goals), 62 for "Shamakhi" (4 goals), 55 for "Sumgayit" (2 goals), and 6 for "Qarabagh".
It should be noted that Azar is the 155th footballer in the history of the country's championships to participate in 200 or more matches.
