The "Baku Cup" international tournament, dedicated to the memory of Anatoli Banishevski, the legend of Azerbaijani football and the unforgettable "Number 9", will be organized jointly by "Neftchi" and Moscow "Dinamo". According to Sport24.az, the tournament, which will be held among football players born up to 2015, will take place at the "Palms Sports" Football Center from March 19 to 21.
"Neftchi" will compete in Group "B" with "Dinamo" (Voronezh, Russia), "Göztepe" (Turkey) and "Qarabağ". In Group "A", "Dinamo" (Moscow, Russia), "Besiktas" (Turkey), "Kayrat" (Kazakhstan) and "Ulduz" teams will compete.
"Neftchi" will face "Dinamo" (Voronezh) and "Qarabağ" on March 19, and "Göztepe" on March 20.
On March 20, the winner of Group "A" will face the 2nd place of Group "B", and the winner of Group "B" will face the 2nd place of Group "A". The 3rd and 4th place winners in the groups will also compete in the same way.
On the last day of the "Baku Cup" international tournament - March 21 - matches for 7th, 5th, 3rd places and the final match will be held. An award ceremony will be organized after the decisive match. Note that the tournament will be broadcast live on "Neftchi TV".
