"I started playing as soon as I got here."
These are the words of Nazim Mammadzadeh, who won the championship with "Maziya" of the Maldives, commenting on his achievements in the Asian club.
"The championship in the Maldives makes me happy. In any case, the championship abroad makes a person happier. I started playing as soon as I got here. Because the championship was ongoing. The new opponents weren't that difficult. But then we started playing against clubs that were in second or third place and they had better teams. So it wasn't that easy. In any case, we finally won the championship and we are happy about it. The teams in the top five are professional. Because they all want to qualify for the Conference League by winning the league. For this, they strengthen the squad and play for the championship. When it comes to salaries in the Maldives, they are higher than all of the Azerbaijan First League. But the salaries here are lower than the Premier League," he said in a statement to sportal.az.
He commented on whether he would stay in Maziya as follows:
"I still had a contract with Maziya, I can't say what will happen in the future. But I can stay here too. In any case, I'm thinking of playing in a stable place. I don't want to change countries anymore. We'll see what happens in the future."
