Today, the draw ceremony for the 2026/27 season of the UEFA Nations League tournament was held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
Apasport.az reports that the draw started at 21:00 Baku time.
The opponents of the Azerbaijani national team, which is in the 1st pot of League D, have also been determined. Our team will be in the 2nd group. Our team will face Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
It should be noted that the new season of the UEFA Nations League will start on September 24. The last group stage matches will be held in November. The final stage of the tournament will take place in June 2027.

If the losing side in the play-off occupies one of the 49th-52nd places in the ranking, it will remain in the first pot. If it ranks 53rd or 54th, it will fall into the second pot. These pairs will be represented in the draw as the owners of those places.
