Members of the Azerbaijani national team met with young people training in the Kurdakhani settlement of Baku. Sport24.az reports that the meeting was attended by the head coach of the national team Aykhan Abbasov, the team's director Ilgar Gurbanov, football players Rza Jafarov, Ceyhun Nuriyev, Mustafa Ahmadzade, as well as the head of the AFFA Mass Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov.
Zakir Aliyev, a resident of Kurdakhani, an amateur coach, built a small football field for children in his yard and tries to contribute to the development of young talents by giving them free training there. Thanks to his initiative, many children living in the settlement have the opportunity to play football.
Members of the national team met with these children, joined their training and had sincere conversations. Head coach Aykhan Abbasov called on the teenagers to preserve their love for football and to always be diligent.
At the end of the meeting, the children took memorable photos with the members of the national team and received autographs. Teenagers were presented with gifts and soccer balls by AFFA.
