Unpleasant moments occurred in the second round of the AFFA Youth League.
Idman.biz reports that a fight broke out between the players in the 83rd minute of the "Kapaz" - "Sumgayit" match at the Ganja City Stadium.
Nihad Isagov, a member of the home team, and Raul Aliyev, from the guests, punched each other. The head referee showed a direct red card to both players and removed them from the field.
The AFFA Disciplinary Committee assessed the incident as "aggressive behavior" and imposed a 3-match ban on both players. Isagov and Aliyev are members of the Azerbaijani U-17 and U-18 national teams.
It should be noted that the match ended with a minimal score victory for "Sumgayit" - 1:0.
