Former Sporting and Manchester United winger Nani has shared childhood memories of Cristiano Ronaldo. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to FourFourTwo about this:
"We dreamed of becoming professional footballers one day. But we also understood that until we achieved that, everything remains just a dream. Suddenly, everything happened very quickly - we had the opportunity to prove ourselves and we took advantage of it. The sacrifices we made at a young age ultimately played a decisive role.
Even as a child, he was different from everyone else. Cristiano always knew exactly what he wanted to do. He lived for football. He would be in tears if he lost or if something went wrong. This showed his dedication to the game and how intensely he approached it."
It should be noted that 41-year-old Ronaldo currently plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
