Kazakhstan's "Aktobe" may have different plans for Portuguese star Nani than expected. Portuguese media has published new and noteworthy information on the matter.
İdman.Biz reports, citing the Portuguese publication "Cabine Desportiva", that Nani has been offered a special project by the Kazakh "Aktobe" club aimed at increasing the recognition of football and the club. Within this project, his main role is not on the field, but rather as a consultant, mentor or club ambassador.
According to reports, the possibility of involving the 39-year-old veteran in the team's playing squad is not excluded, but this option is not a priority for him. The former Portuguese national team member seems closer to administrative and representative functions.
It is noted that Nani has not yet made a final decision regarding his future. He will visit Kazakhstan in the coming days to get acquainted with the city, the club's infrastructure, and hold meetings with the "Aktobe" leadership.
It should be reminded that Nani officially ended his professional football career in 2024. His last club was the Portuguese team "Estrela".
