Former Azerbaijani national team football player Namig Alaskarov may continue his career in Turkey.
İdman.biz reports that Vagif Heydarli, the attacker's manager, told Telegraf about this.
He stated that an official offer was sent to the 30-year-old midfielder who left Sabah some time ago: "Namik's option to go abroad is not excluded. He received a serious offer from the Turkish First League. Although I will not reveal the name, there is a club we are negotiating with."
The manager neither denied nor confirmed that Alaskarov had received an offer from Neftchi: "I will not mention the name of any club, not even Neftchi. We are currently negotiating with several clubs. We are looking at them. It will probably be clarified soon."
Heydarli also clarified why the former member of the national team parted ways with the Masazir representative: "Namik could have continued with Sabah. But in accordance with the current situation, he decided not to continue. We will evaluate a better option for him."
It should be noted that Namig Alaskarov moved from Turkish club Bursaspor to Sabah in 2022. The graduate of "Baku" played for "Neftchi", "Qarabag" and "Kapaz" in different years.
